A Cozy Winter Day

Brrrrrrrrr ... got our first snowfall of the 2016-17 winter here on Long Island. It's so pretty ... and just adds to the festive holiday spirit here at Scrap-A-Latte. As we look out across the parking lot, people are buying their Christmas trees and imagine they'll be spending their afternoon decorating.

There's a crop today and croppers are a hardy crew ... through rain or snow, sleet or hail ... nothing will stop them from packing up their paper, embellishments, inks, stamps, ribbon, and adhesives to spend the day creating. Think I'll do just that with some of the newer winter lines ... so many pretty ones ... like the Authentique Wintery and Simple Stories Winter Wonderland lines.

 

It's rare, but there are those days where there are no errands to run, the snow is falling, and the house just feels so warm and cozy. What a treat to make a cup of hot cocoa, put on music, favorite TV programs or old movies and just play with your scrapbook supplies.  That's heaven.
