Welcome Stephanie from Bella Blvd!
Hi Scrap-A-Latte Friends ... we've been so busy preparing for Stephanie's visit that we've forgotten to blog! Scrap-A-Latte is thrilled to have Stephanie from Bella Blvd joining us later this evening - May 20th - to be our very first guest teacher. It's sure to be a great time!
Even if you weren't able to register for the workshop, you are welcome to stop in for a Meet & Greet from 6:00 and 6:45. Join us for some light refreshments and to spend a little time getting to know Stephanie.
At 7 p.m. the workshop will begin. Those who have pre-registered for the Bella Blvd workshop will get busy under Stephanie's guidance to create one coordinating two-page layout and single-page layouts.
Let us share a little more about Stephanie! She's the sole designer behind the recognizably colorful Bella Blvd brand. When she's not traveling to teach workshops like the one she'll be providing at Scrap-A-Latte, you'll find her in her turquoise studio office at Bella Blvd in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Bella Blvd is her baby -- a company she started more than seven years ago. It's a place where she expresses her passion for drawing, scrapbooking, design and teamwork. She thrives under pressure and is most happy when she's truly inspired.
As a young girl, Stephanie dreamed of being an illustrator for Disney movies. She'd draw and draw, filling up sketchbooks. Fast forward seven years and, today, she's the proud owner of a boutique scrapbooking brand found in independent scrapbooking and paper crafting stores worldwide. Her favorite part of designing products for crafters is the timeless nature of her work. Forty years from now, Stephanie might find herself at a neighbor's Tupperware party and spot a beautiful quilt or family scrapbook featuring a piece of her work. She finds it extremely fulfilling to help others document their priceless memories and life's stories.
On a personal note, Stephanie is married to her beau of seven years. In September 2014, they became first-time parents to their little boy, Hunter. In her spare time, she enjoys running, trying new recipes, traveling, decorating, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, freelance photography and taking care of their first little baby, Mio, their dog.
We can't wait to see you all this evening, to spend this time with Stephanie and to see the many creations of our workshop participants.
